The Zephyrus, a tug operated by Mammoet Maritime, recently received a Green Award for Inland Shipping certificate, becoming only the second tug in the Netherlands to be covered by this program. The certificate is proof that this tug meets quality, safety and environmental performance requirements which go well beyond those required by law. This again proves that Mammoet takes its environmental responsibility seriously.

Mammoet Maritime will appear in the television show Wereld van de Binnenvaart. This series, comprising eight episodes, sheds light on inland shipping and the major role our industry plays in the Dutch economy. The programmes focus on life on board, technology, safety and the environment, including shippers' personal stories and magnificent views seen from the water.
