Salvage of dry dock at Lauwersoog (12/16/2009)

Details of the dry dock: Dimensions about 50 x 17.50 x 10 meters
Dock weight about 600 tons
Period of the work: Weeks 49 and 50, 2009.
Location: harbor of Lauwersoog (NL); depth of water about 6 meters
Mammoet Maritime equipment deployed:

Replacing a railway bridge in Tulln, Austria (08/31/2009)

The existing railway bridge over the Danube in Tulln, Austria was removed and two new sections put back in its place.

The existing bridge was formed by three sections each 85 meters in length and weighing about 800 tons, and one part 35 meters in length weighing about 300 tons. The new bridge has two sections each 185 meters in length and weighing about 1750 tons.
